This cabin has been our family's dream in the making for several decades, from the idea to reality, as we've explored the mountains to secure the parcel of land, build the access road, run electricity lines, drill the water well,  install the septic system, choose and excavate the building site and complete the construction in an incredibly remote and but beautiful place. We are delighted to call the historic settlement of Mount Robson our home and are thrilled to share our dream, history, and majestic mountain setting with our guests. Nestled on 75 acres at the base of Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, the Mount Robson Luxury Cabin is a stunning four-bedroom retreat offering complete privacy and breathtaking 360-degree mountain and lush green meadow views. This 1900-square-foot  haven combines luxury and nature with heated floors, accommodating up to 12 guests for family reunions or friend getaways ensuring an unforgettable experience. 

WINTER ACCESS & ARRIVAL ADVISORY – PLEASE READ

Our cabin is conveniently located just 1.5 km from the Trans-Canada Highway (Hwy 16). However, the final ascent to the cabin involves a steep private driveway that is subject to rapid weather changes.

Vehicle Requirements (to drive to the front door):
- Mandatory: 4x4 vehicle with winter-rated tires.
- Recommended: Carry tire chains and an experienced winter driver.
- Conditions: The driveway is professionally plowed, but can be icy and unpredictable due to the weather. Guests attempting to drive up to the cabin door do so at their own discretion and risk.

Sled-In / Sled-Out Staging Options: If you prefer not to drive the steep section, we offer excellent staging areas on Hargreaves Road and at the base of our driveway. You can leave your vehicle/trailer in the lower staging area and simply sled or walk the final distance (approx. 100m from the hill base or 1km from the property entrance) to the front door.

The Reward: Once you arrive, you’ll enjoy a perfect winter sanctuary! Unlike rustic off-grid cabins, we offer full utility power supported by a backup propane generator, ensuring you never lose heat or light. Best of all, the entire cabin features heated floors to warm you up immediately after your ride with the dedicated gear/boot drying room.
